Bee home

On World Bee Day, May 20th of 2020, Ikea’s research lab Space 10 launched Bee Home. This digital platform makes it easy for anyone to create a sophisticated sanctuary in their garden for the most vital living species on our planet: solitary bees.

Design a pollinator palace on the Bee Home website, download the files, forward them to a local maker space to see them realised, or make it yourself.

What we like about it: this project is the perfect example of how design can benefit both people and their environment.
